College Football Playoff, MLB analysis

I'm working on the college football playoff. I did some tests today, the formula looks good. It's pretty mathematical and hard to explain, but it'll turn out pretty good. And it could probably be used to predict winners in college football. As far as the wild card race, in the AL the Red Sox and Rangers are the only real contenders. A look at the start of  a daily series of possibly playoff-bound teams:
Yankees 73-43 6.5 over Red Sox in the East
The Yankees have a 2.5 game lead over the Angels for the AL lead, and they look like a solid bet to make the playoffs. I don't think they're built for the playoffs, as they don't really play as a team, and don't have the sheer force to win without playing as a team.
Playoff chance: 85%
